Pumpkin stuffed with rice and meat

If you want to surprise your guests with something unusual and easy to prepare, prepare a pumpkin stuffed with rice and meat for them. A bright dish that will decorate any table.

Pumpkin (medium) 1 pc

Pork pulp 400 g

Onion 2 pcs

Bell pepper 2 pcs

Unrefined sunflower oil TM "Aleika" 3-4 tbsp. l.

Curry 1/2 tsp

Salt 1-1, 5 tsp


Wash and dry the pumpkin well.

Cut off the cap. Peel the seeds and pulp from the pumpkin with a spoon.

From the foil, make a mold for the pumpkin and wrap the pumpkin tightly to the middle.

Cut 400 grams of pork pulp into cubes, finely chop two onions.

Fry the meat in a pan for 2-3 minutes.

Add chopped onion and coarsely chopped bell pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes.

Add 1/2 teaspoon curry and 1-1.5 teaspoon salt. Mix well.

Transfer the filling from the pan to the pumpkin.

Pour hot boiled water up to the top.

Cover with pumpkin lid and wrap tightly in foil. Cook for 1-1.5 hours (depending on the size of the pumpkin) at 180-190 degrees C.

Pumpkin stuffed with rice and meat is ready. Gently unfold the pumpkin and serve.
