Fried catfish with rice

Fleshy and tender catfish, fried in a pan in breadcrumbs, will retain all juiciness and softness and go well with any side dish.

Cooking time 30 minutes


Catfish fillet 300 g

Lemon 1/2 pc

Eggs 1 pc

Breadcrumbs 50 g

Vegetable oil (for frying) 200 ml

Rice 150 g

Greenery for decoration

Salt to taste


Cut the fish fillet into slices and sprinkle with the juice of half a lemon. Season with salt and pepper.

Beat an egg in one bowl and add a little salt, and pour crackers into another bowl.

Dip the pieces of fish in the egg and roll in breadcrumbs. Fry in hot oil until golden brown. Place in a bowl.

Boil the rice until tender, salt if desired. Drain the liquid.

Breaded fried catfish with rice is ready. Use a mold to make turrets. Arrange rice towers and fish pieces on a plate. Decorate with herbs. If you will be serving with soy sauce, do not use salt when cooking fish and rice.
