Fried chickpeas with herbs

Fried chickpeas with herbs and garlic can be prepared both as a main course and as a delicious snack.

Cooking time 1 hour


Chickpeas 200 g

Parsley (greens) 2 pcs

Turmeric 1 tsp

Garlic clove 2 pcs

Vegetable oil

Salt to taste


Soak the chickpeas in cold water for 12 hours. Cook over medium heat until soft for 40-50 minutes. Drain the liquid.

Finely chop the onion and garlic and fry in vegetable oil.

Add chickpeas and fry until tender for 10-15 minutes. Add turmeric and salt. Mix well.

Place on a plate and sprinkle with chopped parsley. Serve hot.
