Spaghetti with tomato sauce and basil

No time to go to the store and spend a lot of time in the kitchen? Then spaghetti with tomato sauce and basil will help you out.

Spaghetti 200 g

Canned tomatoes with own juice (without skin) 150 g

Onion 1 pc

Garlic clove 2 pcs

Dried basil 1/4 tsp

Parsley (greens)


Vegetable oil

Salt to taste


Boil spaghetti until tender in salted water with the addition of a couple of tablespoons of vegetable oil. Throw in a colander and drain. Transfer to a saucepan and leave in a warm place.

Put finely chopped onion and garlic in a small saucepan, add a few tablespoons of vegetable oil and canned tomatoes, stirring occasionally, bring to a boil.

Knead the mass well. add paprika, salt and basil. Simmer over low heat for another 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cover and let stand.

Put a serving of spaghetti on a dish and pour the sauce over the top. Sprinkle with finely chopped parsley. Serve hot.
