Sichuan chicken is a gem of Chinese cuisine. An original, aromatic and incredibly bright-tasting dish that everyone should try.
Cooking time 35 minutes
Chicken breast 400 g
Red bell pepper 1 pc
Green bell pepper 1 pc
Ginger, ground or fresh 1/2 tsp
Soy sauce 1/2 cup
Rice 100 g
Canned green peas 50 g
Garlic clove 3 pcs
Onion 1 pc
Roasted peanuts 100 g
Green onion (feather) 2 pcs
Cut the chicken breast into cubes.
Mix soy sauce, ginger, garlic slices in a frying pan and bring to a boil.
Dip the coarsely chopped breast in this boiling sauce and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
Cut vegetables into small pieces. Onion in half rings.
Take out the chicken with a slotted spoon and put the vegetables in the sauce, simmer until tender. Then add the breast and keep on low heat until thickened.
Boil rice in boiling water. Rinse and warm up. Add green peas.
Place the rice on the entire surface of the plate with a slide. Top with chicken and vegetables, sprinkle with chopped peanuts and finely chopped green onions.
