Pearl barley is not only very tasty, but also healthy, and cooked pearl barley with chicken and vegetables is a wonderful lunch or dinner for the whole family.
Cooking time 50 minutes
Chicken fillet 200 g
Unrefined sunflower oil TM "Aleika" 30 ml
Bell pepper 1 pc
Carrot 1 pc
Onion 1 pc
Salt 1/2 tsp
Pour the washed cereal with cold water and leave for 20 minutes.
Cut 200 g of chicken fillet into small pieces.
Transfer the pearl barley to a saucepan, pour water over the cereal and cook over medium heat for 20-25 minutes.
Dice the onion, carrot and bell pepper.
In a preheated pan with vegetable oil, fry the chicken pieces with vegetables, cook for 10-12 minutes, over low heat.
Rinse the finished pearl barley and discard on a sieve.
Barley with chicken and vegetables is ready. Arrange on plates or put on one dish, sprinkle with finely chopped dill and serve.
