Stewed cabbage with beans

Stewed cabbage with beans, a delicious lean side dish that will perfectly diversify your menu.

Cooking time 50 minutes


Red beans 200 g

White cabbage 200 g

Onion 1 pc

Vegetable oil 2 tbsp. l.

Tomato paste 2 tbsp l.

Parsley (greens) 1 bunch

Sugar (sand) 1 pinch.

Salt to taste


Soak beans in cold water overnight.

Cook the beans until tender.

Chop the cabbage.

Fry finely chopped onions in a pan with vegetable oil.

Add chopped cabbage and fry over medium heat for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add tomato paste, salt and sugar.

Add beans.

Sprinkle with finely chopped parsley and mix well.

Put on a dish and sprinkle with herbs to taste.

Stewed cabbage with beans is ready.
