Rice on the side dish "Sunny"

Rice on the side dish "Sunny" is crumbly, golden rice with onions and carrots that the whole family will love. This is a great side dish for meat, fish and chicken.

Ingredients

Rice 200 g

Onion 1 pc

Carrot 1 pc

Vegetable oil 2-3 tbsp. l.

Turmeric 1/2 tsp

Green onions to taste

Salt to taste

Preparation

In a frying pan with vegetable oil, fry finely chopped onions and grated carrots.

Add rice.

Add turmeric and salt to taste. Fry, stirring occasionally for 1-2 minutes.

Add water and simmer over low heat. Cook for 7-10 minutes, adding a little water if necessary.

Put the prepared rice on a dish and sprinkle with finely chopped green onions.
