Barley porridge with meat

Barley porridge with meat is a real heroic porridge with meat, tasty and healthy, it will give strength and cheer you up for the rest of the day or evening.

Cooking time 50 minutes


Water 600 ml

Pork 300 g

Unrefined sunflower oil TM "Aleika" 3 tbsp. l.

Carrot 1 pc

Bell pepper 1 pc

Onion 1 pc

Bay leaf 2 pcs

Ground black pepper to taste

Salt 1/2 tsp


Cut 300 grams of pork into small cubes.

Fry the pork pieces for 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown.

Peel the bell peppers, carrots and onions.

Chop the bell peppers and carrots into strips, finely chop the onion.

Add vegetables to the pan and cook for another 7-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Salt and pepper the meat with vegetables.

Add the barley and stir.

Add 600 ml of water, 2 bay leaves to taste.

Simmer, covered over medium heat, for 30-35 minutes.

The barley porridge with meat is ready. Arrange on plates and serve.
