Shortcrust pastry

Shortcrust pastry is ideal for grated pies and crumbly cookies.

Cooking time 30 minutes


Flour 350 g

Butter 200 g

Sugar 150 g

Starch 100 g

Baking powder 1/2 tsp

Salt 1/4 tsp


In a bowl, combine soft butter and egg.

Add sugar and salt to a bowl.

Add potato starch and baking powder.

Add flour to a bowl and use a fork to knead the dough in a circle.

Knead the dough in a bowl with your hands so that the sides remain clean.

Wrap the dough in a bag and refrigerate for 20 minutes.

The shortbread dough is ready. You can start making delicious crumbly cookies.
