Dough for dumplings

Soft elastic dough for dumplings. You can make dumplings with cottage cheese, potatoes, cabbage and cherries or any other filling.

Cooking time 20 minutes


Flour 500-600 g

Water 250 ml

Eggs 1 pc

Vegetable oil 2 tbsp. l.

Salt 1 tsp


Pour water into a bowl, add an egg and stir.

Add salt to a bowl.

Add vegetable oil. Mix.

In a convenient bowl or just on the table, sift the flour well and make a small indentation in the middle.

Pour the water and egg into the flour.

Knead the dough, starting at the edges in a circle in the middle, forming a ball of dough.

Knead for 10-12 minutes, until the dough sticks to your hands. Cover with a damp towel and leave for 15 minutes.

Divide the dough into pieces. Roll the sausages. Cut them into small pieces and roll them out with a rolling pin, after sprinkling the surface on which you will roll them with flour.

The dumpling dough is ready. Prepare your favorite filling and make dumplings.
