Baked chicken drumsticks

We present a variant of cooking chicken in Greek, which is originally cooked in the sleeve, and only then baked in the oven. But we will do a little differently, bake the drumsticks in a mold, and otherwise, everything that concerns the marinade, we will strictly follow the recipe.

For chicken, you can prepare a marinade in different ways, for example, replace sour cream with yogurt or mayonnaise. Or it is possible without it, than the shins acquires a completely different taste.

How to marinate drumsticks

To make the chicken marinade, combine yogurt, some olive oil, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt and black pepper in a deep bowl. Add the grated zest of one lemon and half the freshly squeezed lemon juice.

Chop fresh herbs, add to the rest of the ingredients and mix everything thoroughly. Sour cream marinade for shins is ready!

Dip the drumsticks in the marinade one by one, place them in a layer in a baking dish, and then pour the rest of the marinade over the chicken legs.

Transfer the mold to a preheated oven to 180-200 degrees and bake the pickled drumsticks in the oven for no more than one hour or less, depending on your technique and mains voltage.

As soon as the surface of the drumsticks is slightly browned and the meat begins to murmur, then the dish is ready.
