There are just cabbage rolls, and there are also lazy ones, which resemble cutlets. Lazy cabbage rolls are the same as ordinary cabbage rolls, just not wrapped in cabbage leaves. Otherwise, the range of products is the same, but the taste, of course, will be slightly different, because an important ingredient, cabbage, was overlooked.
We offer to cook lazy stuffed cabbage rolls in a slow cooker. This is because dishes in a multicooker come out with a noticeably rich taste.
Lazy stuffed cabbage rolls with chicken in a slow cooker
Scroll the chicken meat through a meat grinder, and onions for lazy cabbage rolls are best cut with a knife into small cubes.
Chop the white cabbage finely, beat in one egg, season with spices and thoroughly combine all the ingredients.
Sprinkle with semolina, add bread previously soaked in water and stir.
Heat oil in a frying pan and over medium heat, until light crust, fry cutlets formed and boned in flour on both sides.
In a deep saucepan or preferably in a slow cooker, pour in the broth, in such an amount that the cutlets are half covered. Put on the fire, add half of finely chopped onions, tomatoes cut into slices, tomato paste, salt and pepper a little and bring to a light boil.
Place the sautéed chicken cutlets in a saucepan with broth, sprinkle with chopped garlic on top and add laurel leaves. Close the lid tightly and cook on simmer for 15 minutes.
Over time, we transfer the ready-made lazy cabbage rolls from the multicooker, pour tomato sauce on top and serve with any, for a previously prepared side dish or just with fresh vegetables.
