Open pie with mushrooms and cheese

Today we will cook an open pie with mushrooms and cheese - one of the most popular types of pastries. Homemade pie is the most desired and simple dish that can be whipped up, where almost any product can be used as a filling.

When preparing pies, do not use any fillings. Fillers are sweet, meat, berry and vegetable. Here you just need to know the preferences of homemade ones and then even the simplest pie will seem the most delicious.

Mushroom Cheese Pie Recipe Step by Step

The first step is to prepare a simple dough for our pie: sift the flour into a deep bowl and mix it with salt. Rub the chilled butter through a coarse grater and combine with flour with a spoon.

Pour 50 grams of cold water on top and quickly knead a not strong elastic dough for the pie.

We transfer the finished dough to the work surface, roll it into a layer, then put it in a round shape and form the sides. While we are preparing the filling, the mold with the dough must be cooled in the refrigerator.

In the meantime, let's start preparing the mushroom filling: for this we cut the onions into cubes.

We wash the mushrooms and cut into thin plates.

Melt a tablespoon of oil in a frying pan and fry the onion in it until it softens slightly.

Next, put the mushrooms, mix with the onion and continue frying in the stewing mode - 15 minutes. In the process, salt, pepper to taste and mix.

Drive in an egg in a separate bowl, pour sour cream, sprinkle with salt and mix until smooth.

Cut the mozzarella cheese into moderately thin rectangular slices.

Rub hard regular cheese on a grater.

We turn on the oven and heat it up. We take out the cooled dough from the refrigerator and bake at a temperature of 200 degrees, no longer than 15 minutes.

Put exactly half of the mushroom filling on the hot dough.

Put pieces of mazzarella cheese on top of the mushrooms.

With the next layer, lay out the rest of the mushrooms and fill it with sour cream.

And at the end, sprinkle the last layer with grated cheese and transfer the form to the oven. We bake mushroom pie with cheese for no more than 30 minutes.
