Vegetable stew with meat

When it’s close to midday mealtime, the best thing you can do for a quick and tasty lunch for men is to stew meat and vegetables and prepare a fragrant meal for the whole family. Vegetable stew with meat is a common homemade food with various ingredients that can look like a rich thick soup, vegetable gravy, or a roast.

Chop the pork neck moderately coarsely, onions into thin strips, divide the potatoes into large pieces and chop the garlic finely.

Heat oil in a skillet. Fry the meat over high heat until light and golden brown.

Sauté the chopped onion and chopped garlic separately, until the onion is juiced and slightly translucent.

Collect meat and onions in one skillet. Pour the prepared broth or tomato paste diluted in water, sprinkle with aromatic spices and salt, stir and bring to a boil.

Add potatoes, lay out cabbage, cover and cook over low heat - 40-50 minutes, until potatoes are tender. In the process, stir occasionally and add salt if necessary.

In each case, the cooking time for vegetables can vary significantly. Do not overdo the roast for too long, and do not let the liquid evaporate completely.

Seasonally, you can cook a vegetable stew with zucchini and serve such a dish to warm up your appetite, before the main meal or as a light snack.
