Salad "New Year's ball" is everyone's favorite herring under a fur coat on the New Year's table. You won't know until you try.
Cooking time 40 minutes
Herring fillet 200 g
Potatoes 3 pcs
Eggs 3 pcs
Beet 1 pc
Mayonnaise 3 tbsp l.
Pomegranate seeds (for decoration)
Boil 3-4 potatoes, cool and peel.
Grate the potatoes, put the bottom layer in a circle.
Salt a layer of potatoes and brush with mayonnaise.
Cut 200 g herring fillets into cubes.
Place a layer of chopped herring over the potatoes.
Boil 3 eggs and 1 beet, cool and peel.
In a bowl, combine grated eggs (leave 1 yolk), grated beets and 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise.
Place the beetroot mixture on top of the herring.
Decorate with grated yolk and pomegranate seeds. Let the salad sit in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
The New Year's salad is ready. Can be served with a festive table.
