Pork entrecotes with vegetables and cheese in the oven

From pork entrecotes or, in other words, from meat on the bone, you can prepare a delicious, satisfying and very appetizing dish that will not only delight the family on a weekday, but also pleasantly surprise guests during a festive feast. You can cook this type of meat in a wide variety of ways and with the addition of a variety of ingredients. So, for example, pork entrecotes can be fried in a pan or baked in the oven, marinated in soy sauce, mustard or simply in mayonnaise, and also add some vegetables, mushrooms or cheese to the meat.

This recipe will tell you about oven-baked entrecotes with vegetables and cheese, pre-marinated in mayonnaise. Thanks to the marinating, as well as vegetables, the pork entrecotes will turn out to be very juicy and tender in taste, and the melted cheese will fry and give the cutlets an even more delicious and appetite-awakening look.

Recipe for pork entrecote with vegetables and cheese baked in the oven

Wash pork entrecotes thoroughly in cold water. Rub the entrecotes with salt and pepper to taste. Spread the entrecotes with mayonnaise and marinate for 1 hour.

While the entrecotes are marinated, you need to cook the vegetables. First, all vegetables must be chopped. Cut the onions into half rings.

Peel the carrots, rinse and rub using a coarse grater.

Cut ripe tomatoes into small cubes.

Also cut the eggplants into cubes.

Place onions and carrots in a frying pan well heated with vegetable oil. Fry until golden brown.

Put chopped tomatoes and eggplants to the fried onions and carrots, add salt to taste, mix and fry for 20 minutes over medium heat.

Put the pickled pork entrecotes on a baking sheet greased with a little vegetable oil.

Put the resulting vegetables on entrecotes. Send a baking sheet with entrecotes to an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 1 hour 15 minutes.

After 60 minutes, sprinkle the grated cheese over the meat and vegetables and continue cooking.

As soon as a golden crust forms on the surface of the dish, remove pork entrecotes with vegetables and cheese from the oven and serve.
