Nothing whets the appetite more than beautifully served snacks. The Christmas balls appetizer with herring, beetroot and potatoes is an excellent recipe for the New Year's table.
Cooking time 25 minutes
Lightly salted herring 200 g
Beets (large) 1 pc
Potatoes 2-3 pcs
Provencal mayonnaise 2 tbsp l.
Lettuce leaves (for decoration)
Salt to taste
Boil beets and potatoes, cool and peel.
Grate vegetables, add mayonnaise and salt to taste.
Stir the beet mass well. Cut the herring into small pieces.
Make small cakes from the beet mass, put a couple of herring pieces and roll into a ball.
Place on a platter with salad leaves and garnish with green onions and lemon slices.
Cool in the refrigerator before serving. The Christmas balls appetizer is ready. Can be served to the New Year's table.
