Meat with sauerkraut for Christmas, this incredibly satisfying and delicious dish will win the hearts of your guests and family.
Cooking time 2 hours
Pork leg (layer) 400 g
Sauerkraut 300 g
Vegetable oil 2-3 tbsp. l.
Frozen cranberries 2 tbsp l.
Green onion (feather) 3-5 pieces
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Wash and dry the meat.
Cut out the bone. Rub with salt and pepper.
Fry in a frying pan in vegetable oil until crusty, on both sides.
Put sauerkraut on the bottom of the mold. Place the meat on top and pour with oil from a frying pan.
Cover with foil and cook for about an hour and a half at 180 degrees C.
Remove the meat and cabbage from the oven and cool slightly.
Cut the meat into slices.
Put the cabbage on a dish, put slices of meat on top.
Decorate with chopped dill and onions. Add cranberries.
