Christmas apples

Christmas apples are the most delicious recipe for stuffed and oven-baked apples with a puff pastry lid that melts in your mouth.

Cooking time 20 minutes

Ingredients

Puff pastry 200 g

Apples 3 pcs

Dried apricots 50 g

Walnuts 2 tbsp l.

Yolk 1 pc

Sesame seeds 1 tsp

Sugar 1 tsp

Preparation

Rinse and dry the apples.

Chop dried apricots and nuts and mix.

Cut off the caps and remove the core.

Stuff the apples with a mixture of dried apricots and nuts.

Roll out the puff pastry into a layer and cut into strips.

Make apple lids from strips of dough. Put the apples in a mold and cover with egg yolk on top, sprinkle with sesame seeds and a little sugar.

Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees C for 20 minutes.

Our Christmas baked apples are ready. Cool slightly and serve for the Christmas table.
