This recipe will help you prepare a natural, rich blackcurrant compote for the winter.
Cooking time 30 minutes
Water 2 l
Black currant 1 kg
Sugar 600 g
Sort out black currants.
Rinse the berries under running water and dry.
Fold the berries in clean jars for half the volume.
Add boiling water to the jars with berries under the neck, cover with lids. Leave on for 15 minutes.
Drain the water from the jars into a saucepan and add sugar. Based on 1 liter of 300 grams of sugar.
Boil sugar syrup and pour into jars with berries.
Seal cans with compote with lids.
Blackcurrant compote is ready for the winter. Store the finished compote in a cool place.
