Black currant jam

Using this recipe, you can make natural blackcurrant jam. You only need berries and sugar.

Cooking time 30 minutes


Black currant 1 kg

Sugar 500 g


Collect the currants and sort out debris and leaves.

Rinse under running water and drain off.

Put the berries in a saucepan and chop with a crush.

Boil after boiling for 5 minutes.

Grind the cooled mass through a fine metal sieve.

Transfer the mixture to a saucepan and add sugar.

Cook after boiling for 5-7 minutes.

Pour into clean jars. Close with lids.

Blackcurrant jam is ready. Store in a cool place.
