Plum jam

Using this recipe, you can easily and simply make delicious plum jam for the winter. The main thing is that the flesh from the stone is easily separated from the plums that you buy.

Plums 1 kg

Sugar 700 g


Rinse and dry plums.

Halve the plums and remove the pits.

Put the bottom layer of the plums in a saucepan and cover with a little sugar.

Then lay out the plums again and repeat layers until the plums run out. The top layer is sugar and leave for 2-3 hours.

Boil until boiling, leave for 1 hour.

Cook again, cook over low heat for 30-35 minutes, remove the foam if necessary.

Pour the finished jam into clean jars. Tighten the plum jam with lids. Put in a warm place until it cools completely.

The plum jam is ready. Store in a cool place.
