Pear Jam

Pear jam is the perfect excuse to invite guests to a tea party. You can also make a delicious aromatic cake or toast with it.

Pears 1 kg

Sugar 600 g


Rinse the pears.

Cut into quarters and core.

Put on medium heat, stirring occasionally, cook until soft for 15-20 minutes.

Cool and rub through a sieve.

Add sugar and stir.

Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, for 20-25 minutes.

Arrange in jars and seal.

Put in a warm place until it cools completely.
