Pickled tomatoes for the winter in basil jars

Tomatoes 2 kg

Bell pepper 2 pcs

Garlic clove 2-3 pcs

Basil 3-4 sprigs

Vinegar essence 70%




Wash and peel the pepper and garlic well. Rinse and dry the basil.

Sort the tomatoes and wash well.

Place sliced ​​pepper and sliced ​​garlic on the bottom of clean jars.

Place the tomatoes with basil.

Pour boiling water over and cover for 20 minutes.

Drain the water into a saucepan, add salt and sugar at the rate of 2 tbsp. tablespoons of salt and 4 tbsp. tablespoons of sugar in 1 liter of water. Boil the marinade.

Pour the marinade into jars and add the vinegar essence (for 1 liter jars, half a teaspoon). Cork the jars and put them in a warm place for 12 hours.

Pickled tomatoes for the winter in jars with basil are ready. Store in a cool place.
