Plum compote for the winter

Delicious pitted plum compote for the winter, which will appeal to adults and children.

Plums (prunes) 1 kg

Water 1 l

Sugar 300 g


Sort out the plums. Wash and dry well.

Divide into halves and remove seeds.

Put the halves of the plums in clean jars, 1/2 of the volume.

Pour boiling water over and leave for 10 minutes.

Pour the water into a saucepan and add sugar, boil the syrup.

Pour syrup into jars and cover with lids, put on sterilization for 10 minutes.

Cork and put in a warm place until it cools.

Plum compote is ready for the winter. Store in a cool place.
