Plums in syrup for the winter are easy to prepare. Treat yourself to some real tasty plums in winter. The recipe itself is very simple, and adding citric acid to the syrup will increase the durability of the jars and eliminate sterilization.
Cooking time 40 minutes
Plums 2 kg
Sugar (sand) 1 kg
Citric acid (based on 2 liters of syrup) 1/2 tsp.
Rinse and dry the plums well.
Place as many plums as possible in clean and dry jars (do not press).
Pour boiling water over and cover, leave for 20 minutes.
Pour the water into a saucepan and add sugar at the rate of 1 kg of sugar per 1 liter of water.
Boil the syrup well and add citric acid.
Pour syrup into jars and tighten with lids. Remove under blanket for 12 hours.
Plums in syrup are ready for the winter. Plum preparation according to this recipe can be stored both at home and in the cellar.
