Cherry compote for the winter

Cherry 2 kg

Sugar (sand) 400 g

Water 2 l


Rinse and dry the berries well.

Fold the berries to 1/3 of the volume in clean dry jars.

Dissolve sugar in water and bring to a boil. Boil for 2-3 minutes.

Pour syrup into jars.

Close with lids. Cherry compote will infuse for a day and change color.

Store at home and in the cellar.
