Green tomatoes with paprika "Drunk"

This appetizer made from green tomatoes for the winter is a great opportunity to cook deliciously unripe tomatoes.

Green tomatoes 2 kg

Head of garlic 1 pc

Bulgarian pepper 1-2 pieces

Bay leaf

Allspice peas





Vinegar (9%)



Sort the tomatoes and wash well.

Put spices at the bottom of clean jars, 10 black peppercorns, 3 cloves and 2 bay leaves per jar.

Dry the tomatoes, peel the garlic, cut the pepper into strips.

Place tomatoes, strips of peppers and garlic tightly in jars.

Pour boiling water over and cover.

Let stand for 10-15 minutes. Drain the water into a saucepan and add 2 tbsp per liter of water. tablespoons of sugar, 2 tbsp. tablespoons of salt and ½ teaspoon of paprika. Boil the marinade well. Add 50 ml. vinegar and 50 ml. vodka, mix and pour the marinade into the jars.

Cork and turn over. Cover with a blanket and stand for 12 hours. Keep cold.
