Apricot jam with walnuts

The walnuts in sweet apricot jam are so delicious you might wonder why they haven't cooked this way before.

Cooking time 30 minutes


Apricots (apricots) 3 kg

Sugar 2, 5 kg

Water 200 ml

Walnuts 200 g


Wash and sort the apricots.

Divide into halves and remove seeds.

Boil the syrup from water and sugar. Put the apricots in the syrup and cook until boiling. Remove from heat. Add walnuts and leave for 6-8 hours.

Put again on medium heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove foam if necessary. Arrange in banks and roll up.

The jam is ready. Store in a refrigerator or cellar.
