Dressing for the winter for hodgepodge

This winter dressing for hodgepodge and pickle will simplify the preparation of delicious first courses and is perfect as a ready-made cucumber snack.

Cooking time 1 hour


Ground cucumbers 2 kg

Carrots 2 pcs

Onion 3 pcs

Vegetable oil 130 ml

Salt 1 tbsp l.

Sugar (sand) 1 tbsp. l.

Vinegar essence 70% 1/2 tsp


Wash cucumbers well.

Peel carrots and onions.

Chop cucumbers into slices into a saucepan.

Add onion chopped not coarsely and grated carrots.

Add chopped parsley.

Add salt, sugar and oil to a 2 quart saucepan of chopped vegetables.

Mix well and stand for an hour.

Put on fire and cook after boiling for 2-3 minutes. Add vinegar essence and stir.

Arrange in jars and tighten with lids. Put in a blanket for 12 hours.

Dressing for the winter for the hodgepodge is ready. Keep in the cellar.
