Apple jam

Apple jam will come in handy in the cold winter. A jar of thick apple jam is so nice to serve with tea for dear guests, or you can bake a pie with it.

Cooking time 40 minutes


Apples (ranetki) 2 kg

Sugar 1, 6 kg

Water 400 ml


Wash and dry the apples well.

Cut into quarters and core.

Add water to a large saucepan and cook over medium heat. Stir occasionally.

When the mass becomes mushy, remove from heat and cool.

Rub through a sieve.

Add sugar per 1 kg of mashed potatoes with 800 g of sugar.

Mix well, put on fire and cook until the foam completely disappears for about 15 minutes, stirring !!! (burns quickly).

The apple jam is ready. Transfer to clean and dry jars. Close with lids.
