Ingredients
Apples 1 kg
Sugar (sand) 700 g
Water 120 ml
Preparation
Collect and sort apples. Wash and dry well.
Cut into quarters and core.
Put in a saucepan and add water.
Cook over medium heat, stirring until the apples are soft, about 10-12 minutes.
Cool and grind through a fine metal sieve.
Pour into a saucepan. Add sugar and stir.
Boil until boiling. Skim off the foam and cook over low heat for another 10-15 minutes.
Pour the finished jam into clean jars.
Close with lids and put into the cellar. Our delicious apple jam is ready for the winter.
