Easter cake "Moscow" with raisins

This recipe will help you easily and simply prepare delicious "Moscow" Easter cakes with raisins for your Easter table.

Cooking time 3 hours


Milk 700 ml

Dry yeast (1 sachet) 10 g

Butter 100 g

Raisins 100 g

Eggs 3 pcs

Sugar 100 g

Unrefined sunflower oil TM "Aleika" 2 tbsp. l.

Salt 1 tsp

Egg white (for glaze) 2 pcs

Powdered sugar (for glaze) 100 g

Lemon juice (3-4 drops, for icing)

Dissolve yeast in warm milk.

In a bowl, beat the sugar and eggs.

Add 1 teaspoon of salt.

Add melted butter and 300 g flour.

Mix milk mixture with egg.

Add another 300 g of TM "Aleika" flour.

Transfer the dough to a large container and leave for 1 hour.

Add the rest of the flour and knead the dough. Hand knead for 15-20 minutes.

Leave on for 1 hour.

Pour boiling water over the raisins, drain and dry a little.

Squeeze the raisins into the dough.

Divide the dough into molds for 1/3 of the volume.

Leave to rise for 20 minutes.

Bake in an oven preheated to 170 degrees C for 20-30 minutes, depending on the size. Willingness to check with a wooden stick. Easter cakes should be easy to pierce, and no raw dough should stick to the stick. Cool the finished cakes completely.

Separate whites from yolks in a bowl.

Whisk with icing sugar and lemon juice.

Grease the cakes with glaze.

Sprinkle with pastry dust.
