Easter cake with raisins

It is not at all difficult to prepare Easter cake with raisins. Using this recipe, you will prepare a traditional, tender, porous cake with raisins for the Easter table.

Cooking time 3 hours


Flour 1-1, 2 kg

Eggs 4 pcs

Milk 200 ml

Butter 100 g

Powdered sugar 100 g

Sugar 100 g

Vegetable oil 50 ml

Dry yeast 1 tsp

Salt 1/2 tsp

Vanillin 2 g

Lemon (juice) 1/4 pc

Confectionery topping to taste


Mix the yolks with milk in a bowl.

Add melted butter and vegetable oil.

Add sugar and vanilla.

Add sifted flour, salt and yeast.

Knead the dough. Let it rise and knead again with a little flour. Repeat twice with an interval of 30-40 minutes. In the last stirring add pre-steamed raisins.

Leave the dough for 20 minutes, rise.

Divide the dough into pieces.

Fill the cake molds to 1/3 of the volume.

Leave on the layer for 20-25 minutes.

Bake in an oven preheated to 170 degrees C for 10-20 minutes, depending on the size of the cake. Cool the cakes completely.

Beat whites with powdered sugar and add lemon juice.

Make protein hats on top of the cakes.

Decorate with dusting sugar and Easter marmalade letters.
