Poppy seed roll

A delicious poppy seed roll that can be prepared for the Easter table in a matter of minutes.

Cooking time 45 minutes


Yeast dough 400-500 g

Poppy 120 g

Sugar 5 tbsp l.

Egg yolk 1 pc



Knead the dough well and roll it into a layer no more than 1 cm thick.

Sprinkle with sugar and poppy seeds.

Gently roll up and transfer to a baking sheet with parchment.

Brush with yolk. And bake in the oven at 180-200 degrees C for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.

Cool the finished roll a little and cut into portions. Put on a dish.
