This recipe will help you prepare delicious homemade cakes in the best traditions of Russian cuisine for your Easter table.
Cooking time 3 hours
Milk 300 ml
Sugar 150 g
Icing sugar 150 g
Butter 100 g
Eggs 3 pcs
Egg white for glaze 2 pcs
Unrefined sunflower oil TM "Aleika" 4 tbsp. l.
Lemon juice for glaze 1 tbsp. l.
Salt 1 tsp
Dry yeast (1 sachet) 10 g
Heat the milk until warm, mix the yeast with 1 teaspoon of sugar.
Put the dough in a warm place for 30 minutes to rise.
Add melted butter and eggs. Mix well.
Add sugar and salt.
Add 300 grams of TM "Aleika" flour and knead the dough.
Leave the dough to rise for 1 hour.
Pour raisins with boiling water, leave for 10-15 minutes, rinse and dry.
Knead the dough for 20-30 minutes, adding flour in portions of about 150 grams.
Let the dough rest for 20 minutes, stir in the raisins and knead the dough again for 20-30 minutes, adding a little more flour. The finished dough should not stick to your hands and be very smooth.
Lubricate the cake molds with TM "Aleika" sunflower oil.
Spread out the dough to 1/3 of the volume.
Remove to a warm place to lay for 20-30 minutes.
Bake cakes in an oven preheated to 180 degrees C for 20-30 minutes, depending on the volume.
Cool the finished cakes a little and remove from the mold. Lay on your side.
Cover with a towel until it cools completely.
For a non-staining glaze, beat the cold egg whites with the icing sugar.
Add a few drops of lemon juice and beat well.
Dip the top of the cake into the icing for a few seconds and remove.
Sprinkle with pastry sprinkles and leave for 2-3 hours to dry the glaze.
Homemade cake is ready. Can be served to the Easter table.
