Christmas log

The Christmas log is a real Christmas fairy tale on your holiday table. We advise you to hide it from children for the time being, otherwise it may not wait until everyone sits down at the table.

Cooking time 2 hours


Condensed milk. boiled (for cream) 100 g

Butter (for cream) 100 g

Apricot jam 200 g

Flour 120 g

Sugar 100 g

Eggs 5 pcs

Butter 50 g

Powdered sugar 1 tbsp. l.

Baking powder 1/4 tsp.


Beat eggs in a bowl until lather.

Add sugar.

Add soft butter.

Add flour and baking powder.

Knead a dough similar to sour cream.

Pour on a baking sheet covered with parchment and smooth.

Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees C for 10-12 minutes.

Remove the finished cake from the parchment and transfer to a towel.

Wrap a roll in a towel.

Combine butter and condensed milk in a bowl.

Beat the cream.

Smear the cold cake with apricot jam and roll into a roll.

Cut off the edges and make "stumps" out of them, coat with cream on all sides.

Sprinkle with powdered sugar and decorate as desired. Put the "Christmas log" in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

The Christmas log is ready. Can be served with the Christmas table.
