Honey Cake

A cake that is difficult to spoil, but that your loved ones will be crazy about. And who knows, maybe you will even have a tradition of making this cake for the holidays.

Cooking time 1 hour 30 minutes


Eggs 2 pcs

Sugar (sand) 120 g

Honey 2 tbsp l.

Wheat flour 300 g

Butter 50 g

Baking powder 1 pc

Condensed milk. boiled (for cream) 1 pc

Butter (for cream) 200 g

Walnuts to taste


In a saucepan, combine sugar and eggs.

Add butter and honey.

Heat well over low heat, stirring occasionally.

Add baking powder. Warm up again until a foamy mass is obtained and the volume doubles.

Transfer to a large bowl and gradually add flour, stirring well with a spoon.

Knead the dough.

Divide into 6 parts. Roll into koloboks and place on a dish sprinkled with flour. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Roll out each bun on parchment.

Bake in an oven preheated to 200 degrees C for 3-4 minutes. Bake all the cakes.

Mix butter (room temperature) with boiled condensed milk.

Whisk until smooth.

Smear the cake by folding one on top of the other.

Spread the remaining cream on top and grease the sides.

Fry walnuts in a pan.

Grind into crumbs in a blender.

Sprinkle on the cake. Decorate with pomegranate seeds or as desired.

Let it soak for 2-3 hours. Honey cake is ready!
