Roll with jam

This roll with jam is made for a pleasant pastime over a cup of tea. If you want to pamper yourself and your loved ones with delicious and original pastries, be sure to prepare this roll.

Cooking time 25 minutes


Apricot jam or any other 150 g

Eggs 4 pcs

Sugar 4 tbsp. l.

Unrefined sunflower oil TM "Aleika" 4 tbsp. l.

Baking powder 1 tsp.

Salt 1 pinch.


Prepare 4 eggs.

Break 4 eggs into 2 bowls, yolks and whites separately.

Add 2 tablespoons of sugar to a bowl of yolks.

Whisk well.

Add 2 tablespoons of sugar and 1 pinch of salt to a bowl of proteins.

Beat with a mixer for 4-5 minutes until stiff peaks.

Add whipped whites in portions to a bowl with yolks, stirring from top to bottom, without losing volume.

Mix gently.

Place the dough on a baking sheet and smooth with a spatula.

Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees C for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.

Put the hot parchment cake on a clean towel with the parchment side down for 1-2 minutes.

Turn over and remove the parchment.

Wrap a roll in a towel with the porous side inward.

Cool the roll in a towel for a few minutes.

Unfold the cooled roll and prepare 150 grams of thick jam.

Smear the entire surface with an even layer.

Roll up and leave for 10 minutes.

The roll with jam is ready. Cut the roll into portions and serve.
