Chicken drumstick (or 1/4 chicken) 2-3 pcs
Pearl barley 2 tbsp. l.
Vegetable oil 2 tbsp. l.
Onion 1 pc
Carrot 1 pc
Potatoes 1-2 pcs
Water 2 l
Salt to taste
Washed chicken pieces and half an onion, pour over cold water and bring to a boil. Skim off foam and reduce heat. Cook for 30-40 minutes.
In a separate saucepan, boil the pre-washed pearl barley until tender.
Remove the chicken pieces and cool. Strain the broth.
Add diced potatoes to the broth. And cook for 2-3 minutes. Add barley.
Fry finely chopped onions and grated carrots in vegetable oil, add boneless chicken. Cook for 1-2 minutes. Add to broth.
Season with salt and let stand, covered for 10 minutes. Pour into bowls and garnish with a sprig of dill. Serve to the table.
