Pickled herring

What a festive table without everyone's favorite pickled herring appetizer? This delicacy will be enjoyed by all your guests.

Cooking time 30 minutes


Herring 1 pc

Bay leaf 1 piece

Sweet peas 3-5 pieces

Cloves 3-5 pcs

Boiled water 300 ml

Salt 2 tbsp l.

Vegetable oil 1 tbsp. l.


Peel and gut the fish.

Remove head, tail and ridge. Cut completely into 2 fillets.

Add spices, salt and oil to the water.

Put the fish in a bowl and pour over the marinade. Cover with cling film and refrigerate for 24 hours.

Cut into portions.

Put on a dish with onion chopped into half rings.

Decorate with greens and lingonberries. Serve sprinkled with vegetable oil.
