Volovany with caviar

Volovany with caviar, an appetizer that will be a real success on the festive table.

Cooking time 15 minutes


Yeast puff pastry 300 g

Butter 30 g

Dill (greens) 2-3 branches.

Salmon caviar 50 g

Eggs 1 pc


Defrost the puff pastry.

Roll out into a layer, no more than 5 mm thick. Using a glass of small diameter, cut out circles from the whole dough. Place half of them on a baking sheet with parchment.

Brush with beaten egg.

From the second batch of circles, cut out rings with a smaller diameter. Place the rings on top of the circles. Brush with egg on top.

Bake in an oven preheated to 200 degrees C for 7-10 minutes until golden brown.

Put on a dish and cool completely. Put a small amount of butter in each volovan.

Sprinkle with finely chopped dill.

Put half a teaspoon of caviar on top.

Decorate with dill and serve.
