Volovany with cheese filling and mushrooms, a delicious little snack that will create a festive mood for you and your guests.
Cooking time 1 hour
Puff yeast dough 300 g
Baltic cheese 100 g
Pickled mushrooms (a little)
Egg 1 pc
Provencal mayonnaise 3-4 tbsp l.
Garlic clove 2-3 pcs
Dill 1 bunch
Red onion head 1 pc
Roll out the puff pastry into a layer, no more than 1 cm thick.
Make circles with a suitable glass or glass. Make rings from half of the circles with another stack of smaller diameter.
Fold the blanks one on top of the other. Put on a baking sheet covered with parchment.
Brush with a beaten egg and send to an oven preheated to 200 degrees C for 10 minutes.
Ready oxen to cool. (Cooking valovans will not take much time, the filling for them can be varied, they can always be prepared in advance, homemade volovans are much tastier than purchased ones).
For the filling, combine grated cheese, pressed garlic and mayonnaise in a bowl.
Stir the filling and place in the oxen.
Top with finely chopped dill.
Arrange the pickled honey mushrooms and put on a platter with lettuce and red onion rings.
Volovany with cheese filling and mushrooms are ready. Can be served with a festive table.
