Cheese buns on the grill

Cheese buns with aromatic thyme, a great addition to kebabs, surprise your family and guests.

Cooking time 1 hour


Flour 400 g

Water 300 ml

Cheese 120 g

Vegetable oil 50 ml

Dry yeast 10 g

Thyme 1/2 tsp

Salt 1/2 tsp

Sugar 1/2 tsp


Dissolve yeast in warm water, add salt and sugar.

Add vegetable oil.

Grate cheese on a fine grater and add to a bowl.

Add dried thyme.

Add flour and knead the dough.

Leave the dough in a warm place for 30 minutes before rising.

Knead the dough well and divide it into pieces.

Roll each part into a cake.

Cut into strips and wrap each on a skewer.

2-3 strips for each skewer, do with the rest of the dough.

Prepare the coals (the residual heat from the kebabs is great).

Fry, turning occasionally for 15-20 minutes. Put the prepared cheese rolls on a dish and serve with meat and vegetables.
