Meatballs with gravy

Small, tasty, tender meatballs with gravy, this is a dish that everyone will love. You can serve it as a separate dish or with a side dish.

Cooking time 30 minutes


Minced meat 400 g

Tomato juice (or tomato paste diluted with water) 400 ml

Onion 1 pc

Slice of bread (white) 2-3 pcs

Garlic clove 1-2 pcs

Dill 1 bunch

Eggs 1 pc

Sugar 1 tsp

Vegetable oil 2-3 tbsp. l.

Cornstarch 1 tbsp l.

Salt to taste

Pepper to taste


Put the minced meat in a bowl, roll the bread, onion and garlic through a meat grinder.

Add egg, salt, pepper, starch and finely chopped dill.

Mix well.

Form small meatballs.

Fry meatballs on all sides in a pan with vegetable oil.

Pour over tomato juice, add salt and sugar. Simmer over low heat, covered, for 7-10 minutes.

Place meatballs in bowls with gravy

Meatballs with gravy are ready. Can be served at the table.
