Barley with mushrooms

Barley with mushrooms, a true delight. A simple yet incredibly delicious combination of ingredients.

Cooking time 1 hour


Pearl barley 3 tbsp. l.

Carrot 1 pc

Onion 1 pc

Green onion (feather) 3 pcs

Fresh champignons 3 pcs

Vegetable oil 2 tbsp. l.

Salt to taste

Pepper to taste


Soak the pearl barley in cold water for 1 hour.

Boil until tender. Throw in a colander.

Cut the mushrooms into slices, cut the carrots into slices, chop the onion.

Fry all vegetables in vegetable oil for 3-5 minutes.

Add boiled pearl barley.

Stir, salt and pepper.

Put on plates and serve.
