Stewed cabbage with tomatoes

A simple recipe for stewed cabbage with tomatoes for a side dish or as an independent dish.

Cooking time 30 minutes


White cabbage 300 g

Tomatoes 2 pcs

Onion 1 pc

Vegetable oil 3-4 tbsp. l.

Salt 1/2 tsp


Remove sluggish leaves from cabbage, peel onion.

Put chopped cabbage and finely chopped onions in a frying pan with vegetable oil.

Cook, stirring occasionally, for 5-7 minutes over medium heat.

Add the tomatoes and simmer for 15-20 minutes, covered over low heat. Salt to taste.

Stewed cabbage with tomatoes is ready. Put on plates and serve.
