Cauliflower in batter

Cauliflower in batter is a delicate piece of cabbage in a beautiful crispy crust. Delicious, quick and simple dish that can be prepared in just 20 minutes.

Cooking time 20 minutes


Cauliflower 1 pc

Eggs 2 pcs

Breadcrumbs 3-4 tbsp l.

Frying oil

Greens (for decoration)


Peel one head of cauliflower from leaves.

Divide the head of cabbage into inflorescences.

Fold the inflorescences into a saucepan and cover with water. Add 1/4 teaspoon of salt.

Cook for 5 minutes after boiling. Place the cauliflower on a sieve and drain. Cool down.

Beat 2 eggs in a bowl with a pinch of salt.

Dip the cooled inflorescences into the egg mixture.

Pour 3-4 tablespoons of bread crumbs into a bowl and roll cabbage inflorescences in them.

Fry in a pan in heated vegetable oil for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Place the finished cauliflower on paper towels to remove excess oil.

Cauliflower in batter is ready. Put on a dish, garnish with herbs and serve.
