Lean Pea Soup

Delicious and light lean pea soup for your menu.

Cooking time 30 minutes

Ingredients

Water 2 l

Split peas 100 g

Carrot 1 pc

Onion 1 pc

Vegetable oil 2-3 tbsp. l.

Salt 1/2 tsp

Ground black pepper to taste

Preparation

Rinse the split peas and soak for a couple of hours.

Boil the peas until tender.

Peel the onions and carrots. Finely chop the onion, grate the carrots.

Fry vegetables in a pan with vegetable oil for 1-2 minutes.

Add water and overcooked vegetables to a saucepan with peas. Add salt and pepper to taste. Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes.

Punch well with a blender.

Heat the soup over the fire.

Pour the prepared soup into bowls.

Lean pea puree soup is ready. Add herbs and croutons to taste. Serve to a lean table.
